To reduce congestion breathing steam through the nose before sleeping reduces snoring. Putting a towel over the head and inhaling steam to loosen muscles-causing congestion. Raise your head Raising the head a few inches with extra pillows can sometimes be a solution for preventing snoring. The effect of gravity on the weak muscles is reduced and thus reduces snoring. Music and Singing Recent research suggests that singing or playing a wind instrument might help some people to control their snoring. Anti-Snoring devices and treatments The nasal strips mentioned above, similarly there are number of other anti-snoring devices available in the market ranging from simple nasal sprays to complex mechanical devices. This is a snoring solution which has to be used after failing in the simple home remedies and it's always better to consult a doctor.
